Considering her reaction the first time Caleb held her,
it's not surprising Sophia looked upon her older brother with some trepidation,
but after Caleb flashed his oh-so-endearing cheesy camera smile,
and after they had exchanged funny faces,
how could they resist each other's charm?

Sophia is just starting to interact with the world around her, so she doesn't have much to say about her older brother, but it's been fun watching Caleb respond to his younger sister. Caleb loves to hold Sophia's hand and is upset when she lets go. He very generously shares toys with Sophia, especially ones he thinks she'll enjoy. When she's crying, Caleb will bring her medicine, bounce the bouncy seat, or rock the car seat. When Sophia wears a hat outside, Caleb wants to wear a hat outside. And if he finds a burp cloth, Caleb takes it to Sophia. The most difficult thing we've had to try and teach Caleb is to be gentle in his hugging and sharing of toys. We've been caught saying, "Caleb, that was very kind of you to share your ball, but Sophia doesn't know how to catch yet."
